This sweet wine is liquid gold. It’s luscious in appearance and has heady apricot, floral and Christmas spice aromas and flavours from Botrytis influenced grapes. Made from semillon with a splash of muscat and riesling, it is honeyed and rounded in mouth-feel but finishes with a citrus twist. This wine instantly seduced me with its orange blossom, apricot and exotic spice aromas. To my delight, these characters followed through on the palate with true luscious charm.  Botrytis Viognier is quite rare and this is a super example of how delicious it can be. It is glorious to savour on its own and also pairs well with pate and other savoury dishes.
